Isese Day: Gov Adeleke declares Monday public holiday

  Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has approved Monday, the 21st day of August 2023, as a public holiday in commemoration of the annual Isese Day celebration by the traditional religious worshippers   This is contained in a  statement issued by the state Commissioner for  Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi.   Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has lost his mother. Wizkid’s mum, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun, died at around 1.30 am, Friday. Confirming the incident to The PUNCH, Sunday Aare, Wizkid’s longtime manager said Mrs Balogun died in the early hours of Friday. Yes, she died this morning, at about 1.30 am,” Aare said. Palliative: Makinde introduces buses, cuts fare for workers, pensioners, varsity students

Female evangelist dies during marathon sex with church overseer in Aba hotel

  Nigerian artiste, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, who is popularly referred to as “Igbo labi,” (loosely translated as “marijuana born”) has called on Nigerian youths to shun drug abuse, during his visit to the Chairman, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Brigadier General Buba Marwa, on Thursday. ECOWAS condemns killing of 17 Niger soldiers

The Economic Community of West African States has condemned the killing of at least seventeen Nigerien soldiers in a recent ambush close to the Mali border. In a statement released on Wednesday in response to the killing of the Nigerien soldiers, ECOWAS said that the country had become vulnerable as a result of President Mohamed Bazoum being ousted by the military coup. The West African bloc cautioned the coup plotters about the importance of adhering to its order by reestablishing constitutional order.
